Prefold or prefolded cloth diapers are a wonderful resource for any childcare giver.  They are versatile and efficient and only have a wee bit of a learning curve.  Need to see some popular folds in action?  Check out these infant prefold techniques captured by a helpful mama on YouTube.  They show a mom using a very basic fold called the tri-fold.  If you choose to use prefold cloth diapers, IttyB3 suggests you choose a quality diaper like the ones we carry in the store.  A Gerber prefold diaper will only disappoint you unless you just want it to capture dust! 

In addition to a prefold diaper, you will also need a diaper cover to go over top of the cloth to act as a waterproof barrier between your child and his clothing.  Additionally, you can choose to secure the diaper before putting the cover on to reduce slippage.  We suggest doing this with  Snappi diaper fasteners, but diaper pins will work fine, too.
